Curiosity first. Confidence follows.
A series or podcast gives us something to talk about. In class, you notice how English works, discuss ideas and put new language to use straight away.
Series, animation and podcasts are the course material, not a reward after the textbook.
Vocabulary and grammar appear where people actually use them — in scenes, dialogue and ideas.
We discuss characters, choices and themes, so conversation grows out of the content rather than artificial textbook questions.

The person you’ll be learning with
I teach English to teenagers and adults. To me, a series is a starting point for real language work: from shades of meaning and everyday expressions to argumentation and analytical writing.
My approach brings together language education, modern learning design and a love of film. Your ideas matter in our lessons — and so does learning how to express them.
